Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("you", "user") and Studio VN – AI & Digital Solutions ("we", "us"), the operator of MeteoSound (the "Service"). By accessing or using meteosound.com you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

MeteoSound is a free, ad-light web application that pairs live weather with a curated index of publicly available internet radio streams. We do not host audio content ourselves — we link to publicly broadcast streams aggregated by third-party directories such as radio-browser.info. Stream availability, bitrate and metadata are provided by those third parties and may change or become unavailable at any time.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the digital-consent age in your country) to create an account. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for all activity on your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
• You can delete your account at any time from Settings.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl or otherwise extract data from the Service at scale.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to derive source code, except where permitted by law.
• Use the Service to distribute malware, spam, or content that infringes third-party rights.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity, security or performance of the Service.
• Circumvent technical limits, rate-limits or access controls.
• Resell, sublicense or commercially redistribute the Service without our written permission.

5. Third-party streams & content

Audio streams, station artwork, metadata and weather data belong to their respective broadcasters and data providers. MeteoSound merely tunes your browser to a publicly broadcast stream. You acknowledge that:

• stations may become unavailable at any time;
• streams may change URL, bitrate or format without notice;
• station metadata (name, tags, logo, country) may be inaccurate or out of date;
• some stations may be geo-restricted and unreachable from your region;
• broadcasters may cease operation without notice.

If you are a rights-holder and want a station removed from our index, contact hello@meteosound.com and we will act promptly.

6. Intellectual property

The MeteoSound name, logo, UI, copy and original code are © Studio VN. All rights reserved. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial enjoyment.

7. Donations

MeteoSound is free to use. If you choose to support the project via Stripe or Buy Me a Coffee, donations are voluntary, non-refundable and do not grant additional rights, features or guarantees. Payment processing is handled entirely by the relevant payment provider under their own terms.

8. Premium features ("MeteoSound Plus")

Future premium features may be offered on a subscription basis under separate terms presented at checkout. Nothing in these Terms entitles you to such features.

9. Beta features & changes

We may add, modify or remove features at any time. Beta or experimental features are provided "as is" and may behave unpredictably.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MeteoSound is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, or accuracy of weather data. Forecasts are informational only — never base safety-critical decisions solely on MeteoSound.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Studio VN shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any direct damages is limited to EUR 50, except in cases of intent or gross negligence, or where mandatory consumer-protection law prohibits such limitation.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Studio VN harmless from any claim arising out of your breach of these Terms or your unlawful use of the Service.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that harms us or other users. You may stop using the Service at any time.

14. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The exclusive forum for any dispute is the competent courts of Italy, except where mandatory consumer-protection law grants you the right to sue in your country of residence.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance.
